Solution

The correct option is B 13

Given that the ratio of the number of coins of 25 paise and 50 paise is 4 : 5 respectively.
Let the number of coins of 25 paise and 50 paise be 4x and 5x respectively, where x is any natural number.
Total sum of money
=4x×0.25+5x×0.50+60×1
= ₹(x + 2.5x + 60)
= ₹(3.5x + 60)
3.5x+60=95 (Total money=95)
3.5x=35
x=10
Number of 50 paise coins=5×10
=50
Number of 25 paise coins=4×10
=40
Total number of coins = 50 + 40 + 60 = 150
P(selecting a 50 paise coin)=Number of 50 paise coinsTotal number of coins
=50150
=13
Hence, the correct answer is option (b).
