Morning consumption = 6 eggs
Evening consumption = 3 eggs
Daily consumption = 9 eggs
Consumption of 3 days = 9 x 3
= 27 eggs
In the begining he had = 3 dozens
= 3 x 12
= 36 eggs
eggs that are left with him = 36 -27
= 9
Fraction of remaining eggs = $\frac{9}{36}$
= $\frac{1}{4}$
