Solution

Dear Student,

When the ball is whirled around a fixed point, it moves in a fixed circle. Hence, the ball has circular motion only.
When a ball is rolling down from an inclined plane, it has two types of motion. The ball moves in a straight line on the plane. Hence, it has linear motion. Also, the ball rotates about its axis while moving forward. Hence, it has rotational motion also.
