Amit's one day's work $= \frac{1}{30}$

Both's one day's work $= \frac{1}{24} + \frac{1}{30}$

$= \frac{5 + 4}{120} = \frac{9}{120}$ [LCM of 24,30=120]

$= \frac{3}{40}$

$∴$ Both can do the work in $= \frac{40}{3} d a y s$

$= 13 \frac{1}{3}$ days
