Dengue is an infectious disease caused by DEN-1, 2 virus. It is transmitted by mosquitos specially Aedes aegypti. It is aquired by a single bite. These mosquitoes lay their eggs in logged water. These larvae feed on the aquatic organisms present in the water like algae and the particles of plant etc., till they develop into a fully developed mosquito. Mosquitoes feed on human host spreading the disease.
Some of the common symptoms of dengue are:
