Solution

The correct option is A Ram: 2.5 m, Sam: 1.5 m
Total distance travelled by Ram is 50 cm + 50 cm +50 cm + 50 cm +50 cm = 250 cm.
Total distance travelled by Sam is 150 cm.
We know that, 1 m = 100 cm
Or 100 cm = 1 m
So, 1 cm=1100 m
As Ram travelled 250 cm, thus 250 cm=250100m=2.5 m
Sam travelled 150 cm, which becomes 150100m=1.5 m
