Ranjan purchased 250 packets of blades at the rate of ₹8per packets. He sold 70% of the packets at the rate of ₹11 per packet and remaining packets at the rate of ₹9 per packets. Find his gain percent.

NUMBER OF PURCHASED PACKETS=250
C.P.=(8×250=2000)

70% OF 250
70/100×250=175
S.P OF 70% PACKETS=175×11
=RS.1925

REMAINING PACKETS=75
S.P OF REMAINING PACKETS=75×9
=RS.675

TOTAL S.P.= 1925+675 = 2600
GAIN=2600-2000
=600
GAIN%= (GAIN/C.P.) × 100
=600/2000×100
=30%
