Solution

Concept: 1 Mark
Steps: 2 Marks
Answer: 1 Mark

Given that:
The selling price of the toy = Rs 200
There is a discount of 20%.
So, the total percentage of the selling price Rashi has to pay = 100 - 20 = 80%
So, the price at which the product was sold
=80100×200=Rs160.

It is given that even after the discount the shopkeeper was making a profit of 60%.
So, the cost price of the toy
=100160×160=Rs100

Hence, the actual price of the toy is Rs 100.
