Solution

The correct option is B Days 5 - 14
Proliferative phase or follicular phase is the phase which involves regeneration of uterine endometrium through proliferation, this takes place during days 5 - 14 of the menstrual cycle. Rapid secretion of LH leading to rupture of Graffian follicle and thereby release of secondary oocyte in this phase. Hence option b is correct.

Days 1 - 5 are the bleeding or menstrual phase or bleeding phase during which uterine endometrium is shed.

Days 15 - 28 are the secretory phase or luteal phase during which the corpus luteum is formed and the uterine lining continues to thicken.

During days 17 - 21, the level of progesterone remains high in the female body.
