Solution

Dear student,

The litmus paper is commonly used to test the pH of the solutions in the science. The red litmus paper turns blue under basic conditions while blue litmus paper turns red under acidic conditions. Under the neutral condition, its colour is purple.

Therefore, the solution will be acidic that will not change the colour of the red litmus paper.
