Given 3x+2y-12=0
This equation can be written as
3x+2y =12
$\Rightarrow \frac{3 x}{12} + \frac{2 y}{12} = 1$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{4} + \frac{y}{6} = 1$ _________ (1)
equation (1) is intercept on x axis & y axis are 4 and 6 respectively.
