Reena purchased one litre of pure Deshi Ghee from a shopkeeper. After using it she had doubt that it was adulterated. She sent it for a laboratory test which confirmed that the ghee was adulterated. State any four reliefs available to Reena if she complaints and the Consumer Court is satisfied with the genuineness of the complaint.

The four reliefs Reena is entitled to obtain are as follows :

(i) Compensation: Reena should be compensated for any health issues she or her family members may have faced after consuming the adulterated Deshi Ghee.

(ii) Discontuinue unfair practices: The shopkeeper could be made to discontinue selling Deshi Ghee and all other products.

(iii) Refund: Reena should be refunded the money spent on purchasing the adulterated ghee.

(iv) Restrictions: The shopkeeper should be made to set compliances to laws and regulations and insist that their new suppliers follow those compliances as well. They should discontinue working with suppliers of Deshi Ghee and conduct tests on unpackaged products.
