Solution

Dear Student

Reproduction is the process by which the new organisms are formed belonging to the same species as their parents. The continuity of species is the result of reproduction. If the species stops to reproduce, it would result in the decrease of that population of species as there would be no new organisms to take the place of the ones which will die. As a result that species will become extinct. Thus, reproduction is an essential phenomenon for the stability of species as if it is not practiced; it can lead to the extinction of the species.
