Rice is the common food in south of India, where as wheat is commonly eaten in
north of India. Give reason.

The soil, temperature and rainfall in South India favour the cultivation of Rice while the soil , temperature and rainfall in North India favour the cultivation of wheat. Hence Rice is common food in South India due to its high cultivation and wheat is the common food in North India.
