Ripened ovary or fertilised ovary is called
Fruit
Post-fertilization changes in plants involve endosperm formation, embryo development, seed, and fruit formation. During the course of fertilization in angiosperms one male gamete fuses with the egg to form a diploid zygote which gives rise to the embryo. The second male gamete fuses with the diploid secondary nucleus to form triploid endosperm which nourishes the developing embryo. Ovules at maturity or ripened ovules are known as seeds. Ripened ovary or fertilized ovary is called fruit.
