Solution

The correct option is E 334
Let's assume cost price of a mangoes = x

Cost price of 400 mangoes=400x

On 60 mangoes, gain =25%

Gain1=Cost of 60 mangoes×25100=60x×25100=15x

On 80 mangoes, gain =20%

Gain2=Cost of 80 mangoes×20100=80x×20100=16x

On 120 mangoes, gain =10%

Gain3=Cost of 120 mangoes×10100=120x×10100=12x

On 140 mangoes, loss =20%

Loss1=Cost of 140 mangoes×20100=140x×20100=28x

Total Gain=Gain1+Gain2+Gain3=15x+16x+12x=43x

Total Loss=Loss1=28x

Overall Gain=Total GainTotal Loss=43x28x=15x

Gain Percentage=Gain×100Cost Price=15x×100400x=334%
