Salma runs 7 rounds of a circular field and covered a distance of 5.6 km. Find the diameter of the field (upto 3 decimal places) if perimeter is 3.14 times the diameter.

Distance Salma covers running 7 rounds = 5.6 km
Distance covered in one round = 5.6 ÷ 7 km = 0.8 kmTherefore, perimeter = 0.8 km

Given, perimeter = 3.14 × diameter.
Therefore, diameter = perimeter ÷ 3.14
Diameter = 0.8 ÷ 3.14 = 0.254 km
Therefore, diameter of the firld is 0.254 km or 254 m.
