Number of rounds Sam took to cover 30 km = 5

Length of one round = 30 ÷ 5

= 6 km per round

We know that,
1000 m = 1 km
48000 m ÷ 1000 m = 48 km
Therefore, number of rounds required to cover 48 km = 48 ÷ 6
= 8 rounds.
