Estimating 13.7 to nearest natural number.
Step 1: Locate the number mentioned in the nearest place value (nearest natural number) i.e ones place
Step 2: Look at the digit to the right of the digit you want to estimate i.e 7 (tenths place)
Step 3: Follow the rule: If you see a digit nearest to natural number greater than 5, round up. If it is less than 5, round down.
7 in tenths place is greater than 5 so we increase the digit in ones coloum by 1. 13.7→14.7
Finally we eliminate the digits after rounded off digits.
