Sanjay is now $\frac{1}{2}$ as old as his brother . In 6 more years he will be $\frac{3}{5}$ as old his brother then . What is the present age of each boy ?

Let sanjay's age be x & his brother's age be y

$x=\frac{1}{2}y$

$\Rightarrow y=2x$

$(x+6)=\frac{3}{5}(y+6)$

$\Rightarrow 5(x+6)=3(2x+6)$

$\Rightarrow 5x+30=6x+18$

$\Rightarrow 30-18=x$

$\Rightarrow 12=x$

So $x=12$

$y=2x=2y$.
