$\bullet$ Milk that is sold in tetrapacks, is usually processed and pasteurized. In this process milk is heated up at ${80}^{\circ }$ celsius for few seconds and then cooled down suddenly. Due to this drop in temperature, the microorganisms present in the milk gets inactivated or dead, making the milk suitable for direct consumption.
$\bullet$ Grandma had to boil the milk as it was not pasteurized to make it free from microbes.
