Solution

Sac fungi are also called Ascomycota. It is a phylum of fungi characterized by a saclike structure. This is separated into subgroups based on whether asci singly or are born in one of several types of fruiting structures or ascocarp.
Asexual reproduction in sac fungi contain two different processes:
1. Conidia formation, the asexual, non-motile haploid spores of a fungus. The conidiospores commonly contain one nucleus and are sometimes called mitospores.
2. Asexual reproduction process in ascomycetes also involves the budding which we clearly observe in yeast. It involves the blebbing of the hyphal tip wall.
