Why- do you think small atoms are more commonly found in organic molecules rather than large ones?

Solution

Organic molecules inside a living organism undergo a lot of transformation continuously. They are broken down, re-synthesized, degraded or converted to another molecule. This transformation will be rather advantageous if atoms of these organic molecules are small, in terms of energy required as well as how easily they take new forms. Hence, atoms found in organic molecules are rather small instead of large ones.
