$= 4 x^{2} + 7 - (x^{2} y + 3 - (- (2 x^{2} y + 2)))$

$= 4 x^{2} + 7 - (x^{2} y + 3 + 2 x^{2} y + 2)$

$= 4 x^{2} + 7 - (3 x^{2} y + 5)$

$= 4 x^{2} + 7 - 3 x^{2} y - 5$

$= 4 x^{2} - 3 x^{2} y + 2$
