Solution

Step 1 : Simplifying the first bracket

27+15

Step 2: The bottom numbers are different, To make it same take the L.C.M of 7 and 5

L.C.M of 7 and 5 is 35

Step 3: Convert both the fraction into equivalent like fractions with their L.C.M as common denominator

27 =2×57×5=1035

15 =1×75×7=735

Step 4: Add the numerators and put the answer over the denominator

1035+735=1735

Step 5 : Simplifying the second bracket

57-13

Step 6: The bottom numbers are different, To make it same take the L.C.M of 7 and 3

L.C.M of 7 and 3 is 21

Step 7: Convert both the fraction into equivalent like fractions with their L.C.M as common denominator

57 =5×37×3=1521

13 =1×73×7=721

Step 8: Subtract the numerators and put the answer over the denominator

1521-721=821

( 27+15)÷221of(57-13) = (1735 ) ÷221of 821

Step 9 : Replace the word ‘ of ’ with the symbol ‘ x ’ and do multiplication

221×821=2×821×21=16441

(1735 ) ÷221of 821 = (1735 ) ÷16441

Step 10: Write the reciprocal of the second fraction ( that one you want to divide by ) with the sign of multiplication (×) and do multiplication

1735×44116=7497560

Step11: Simplify the fraction

Divide numerator 7497 by the denominator 560

7497560=13217560

Here 217560=217÷7560÷7=3180

13217560=133180

Hence , (27+15)÷221of(57-13) = 133180.
