1. Status: High status of superior may create a psychological distance.
2. Rules and regulations: Rigid rules and complicated procedures can be an obstacle to communication.
3. Organizational facilities: Communication can't be effective without sufficient facilities like complaint box, frequently held meetings.
4. Compound structure: When organisation structure consists of several levels communication can be delayed.
