The composite structure formed by Bowman's capsule and glomerulus is called Malpighian body or renal corpuscle. It is found in the cortex part of the kidney. The glomerulus is a capillary tuft. Bowman's capsule encloses the glomerulus. An afferent arteriole breaks into about 20-50 capillary loops or glomerular tuft which then reunite to form an efferent arteriole passing out from the glomerulus.
