NaCl +AgNO3 NaNO3 + AgClNumber of atoms of reactants and products are same. So this equation is a balanced equation. This equation obeys law of conservation of mass. That is total mass of reactant = total mass of product. NaCl +AgNO3 NaNO3 + AgCl58.5 + 170 = 85 + 143.5228.5 g = 228.5 g
