The correct option is D ${- 2.5, 2}$
$2 x^{2} + x - 10 = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $2 x^{2} + 5 x - 4 x - 10 = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $x (2 x + 5) - 2 (2 x + 5) = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $(2 x + 5) (x - 2) = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $2 x + 5 = 0$ and $x - 2 = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $x = - \frac{5}{2}$ and $x = 2$
