The correct option is D x=4,y=2
Given,
2x3y=2 ...(1)
x+2y=8 ...(2)

From (2), we have,
x=82y

Substituting this value of x in (1), we have,
2(82y)3y=2
i.e., 164y3y=27y=14
y=2

Now, x=82yx=82(2)=4
Thus, x=4 and y=2
