Let 1y=z
Equations become
4x+6z=15 ....(1)
6x-8z=14 ....(2)
Multiply (1) with 4 and with 3 we get,
16x+/24x=60 ...(3)
18x/24z=42 ...(4)–––––––––––––––––––––––
84x=102
x=10234
x=3
From (1), 4x+6z=15z=154x6
z=15(4×36=15126=36=12
z=12
y=1z=2
y=2
x=3, y=2
