The correct option is A 2
Given equation is $\frac{6 x - 7}{2 x + 1} = \frac{3 x + 1}{x + 5}$

$\Rightarrow (6 x - 7) (x + 5) = (3 x + 1) (2 x + 1)$

$\Rightarrow 6 x^{2} + 30 x - 7 x - 35 = 6 x^{2} + 3 x + 2 x + 1$

$\Rightarrow 23 x - 3 x - 2 x = 35 + 1$

$\Rightarrow 18 x = 36$

$\Rightarrow x = \frac{36}{18}$

$\Rightarrow x = 2$
