(a) $5 x - 11 = 2 x + 7$
$\Rightarrow 3 x = 18$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{18}{3}$
$\Rightarrow x = 6$

(B) $3 (x - 8) - 2 (x - 5) = 2 - 5 x$
$\Rightarrow 3 x - 24 - 2 x + 10 = 2 - 5 x$
$\Rightarrow x - 14 = 2 - 5 x$
$\Rightarrow 6 x = 16$
$x = \frac{16}{6}$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{8}{3}$

(C) $2 (3 x + 1) - 7 = 2 (6 x - 7)$
$\Rightarrow 6 x + 2 - 7 = 12 x - 14$
$\Rightarrow - 5 + 14 = 12 x - 6 x$
$\Rightarrow 6 x = 9$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{9}{6}$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{3}{2}$
