Solution

The correct option is A $x = 3, y = 2$
$2 x + 3 y - 12 = 0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x = 12 - 3 y$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{12 - 3 y}{2}$
Let, $y = 2$ , then $x = \frac{12 - 3 (2)}{2} = 3$
Similarly, when $y = 0, x = 6$
$2 x - y - 4 = 0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x = 4 + y$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{4 + y}{2}$
Let, $y = 2$ , then $x = \frac{4 + 2}{2} = 3$
Similarly, when $y = 0, x = 2$
Plotting the points above, the intersecting point is $(3, 2)$
$∴ x = 3, y = 2$
