Question

Solve the Differential Equation, (1+x)ydx+(1y)xdy=0.

Open in App
Solution

Differential equation is (1+x)ydx+(1y)xdy=0
(1+x)ydx=(1y)dx
(1xx)dx=(1yy)dy
(1x+1)dx=(1y+1)dy.
On integrating both sides
(1x+1)dx=(1y+1)dy
1xdx+1dx=1ydy+1dy
logex+x=logey+y+c
logex+logey=yx+c
loge(x.y)=yx+c
x.y=eyx+c
This is required solution.
