$$\begin{gathered} L.H.S.=4\left(3\right)-6 \\ =12-6 \\ =6 \end{gathered}$$

$R.H.S.=10$

⇒ $L.H.S.\ne R.H.S.$

Let, $z=4$

$$\begin{gathered} L.H.S.=4\left(4\right)-6 \\ =16-6 \\ =10 \end{gathered}$$

$R.H.S.=10$

⇒ $L.H.S.=R.H.S.$
