The correct option is D (1,2)
x+2y=5 .....(1)
2x+2y=2 .....(2)
Multiply equation (2) by 4 and then subtract the equation (3) and (4)
2x+4y=10 ....(3)
2x+2y=2 .....(4)

6y=12
y=126=2
Put the value of x in equation (1), we get
x+2(2)=5
x+4=5
x=45
x=1
Therefore the solution is (1,2).
