Solution

The correct option is B $(6, - 8)$
$2 x - y = 20$ ----- (1)
$4 x + 3 y = 0$ ----- (2)
Multiply equation (1) by 3
$6 x - 3 y = 60$
$4 x + 3 y = 0$

$10 x = 60$
$x = \frac{60}{10} = 6$
Put the value of $x$ in equation (1), we get
$2 x - y = 20$
$2 (6) - y = 20$
$12 - y = 20$
$y = 12 - 20 y = - 8$
Therefore the solution is (6, -8)
