The correct option is D (6,1)
x+y=7 ----- (1)
2x3y=9 ----- (2)
Multiply equation (1) by
33x+3y=21
2x3y=9

5x=30
x=305=6
Put the value of x in equation (1), we get
x+y=7
6+y=7
y=76
y=1
Therefore the solution is (6, 1)
