Transpose $5m$ to LHS,
$⟹3m-5m=\frac{-8}{5}$

$\Rightarrow -2m=\frac{-8}{5}$

$\Rightarrow 2m=\frac{8}{5}$

Dividing both sides by $2$
$⟹m=\frac{8}{5\times 2}$
$\Rightarrow m=\frac{4}{5}$

LHS $=3m=3\times \frac{4}{5}=\frac{12}{5}$

RHS $=5m-\frac{8}{5}=(5\times \frac{4}{5})$ $-\frac{8}{5}=\frac{20-8}{5}=\frac{12}{5}$

LHS $=$ RHS
Hence proved
