Given $\sqrt{3} x + \sqrt{5} y = 0 ⟹ x = - \frac{\sqrt{5}}{\sqrt{3}} y$
and also $\sqrt{5} x - \sqrt{8} y = 0$
$\frac{5}{\sqrt{3}} y - \sqrt{8} y = 0 ⟹ y = 0 ⟹ x = 0$
So $x = 0, y = 0$
