The correct option is A x=2;y=3
Let 1x=a and 1y=b
We have, 8a9b=1 ...(1)
10a+6b=7 ...(2)
Multiplying (1) by 10 and (2) by 8
We get,
80a90b=10
80a+48b=56
Subtracting, we get 138b=46
b=13.
Substituting in (1) or (2), we get a=12

So, x=2 and y=3.
