Solve the following simultaneous equations by elimination method and find the value of x 3x2y=4;6x+7y=19

3x2y=4 ..........(1)
6x+7y=19 .........(2)
Multiply (1) by 2 we get,
6x4y=8 ..........(3)
Subtracting (2) and (3) we get,
y=1
Re substituting y=1 in (1) we get,
x=2
