3y – 7x +1 = 0

Does the coordinate (4, 9) lie on any of these lines? If yes, which of them?

3x – 5y = 19 --------- (1) 3y – 7x +1 =0-----------(2)

$y=\frac{3x-7}{5}y=\frac{7x-1}{3}$

We have to put (4,9) in each equation to analyze whether it satisfies it or not.

Putting this value in 2, it satisfies the equation. Hence, coordinate lies on the line 3y-7x+1=0.
