Solve the quadratic equation.
$8 x^{2} - 22 x - 21 = 0$

Given,

$8 x^{2} - 22 x - 21 = 0$

$8 x^{2} - 28 x + 6 x - 21 = 0$

$4 x (2 x - 7) + 3 (2 x - 7) = 0$

$(2 x - 7) (4 x + 3) = 0$

$∴ x = - \frac{3}{4}, \frac{7}{2}$
