Solution

When we breathe in, we take in air which moves into our lungs. In the lungs, gaseous exchange takes place as a result of which our blood becomes rich in oxygen. Oxygen is transported by haemoglobin to the cells of body. Cells use up oxygen for cellular respiration to generate energy.
