Solution
The oxygenated blood in the heart is pumped into the main artery called aorta. The aorta branches into smaller arterioles. Arterioles further branch into capillaries. Exchange of oxygen and nutrients happen between the thin capillary walls and the cells. The cellular waste enters the capillaries. The capillaries then unite to form the venules. The venules then unite to form the veins which take the deoxygenated blood back to the heart.
