Solution

Dear Student

Sodium hydroxide reacts with sulphuric acid to form the corresponding salt and water.

Reaction: NaOH + H2SO4 ---> Na 2SO4 + H2O

Salt: Na 2SO4 : Sodium sulphate
Number of atoms in Na 2SO4 = 2 atoms of sodium (Na) + 1 atom of sulphur + 4 atoms of oxygen = 7 atoms

number of atoms in  Na2SO4 = 7
