6x+8y=1103x+4y=120.............i26x+48y=1213x+24y=14.................iimultily eq i by 13 and eqii by 3 , and subtract i from iiwe get, 39x+72y-39x+52y=34-132039x+72y-39x-52y=34-132020y=15-132020y=220y=1200 Now putting the value of y in equation i we get3x+4×1200=1203x+150=1203x=120-1503x=5-2100x=1100hence x=1100 and y=1200
