Solution

Dear student,

The Sperms of human has one X and one Y chromosome while the eggs have two X chromosomes. This is important for the sexual dimorphism and sex determination. When human sperm with Y chromosome fertilizes the egg, the forming zygote would have XY chromosome i.e, male whereas, when human sperm with X chromosome fertilizes the egg, the forming zygote would XX chromosome i.e., female.

Regards.
